Gilles Villeneuve in the cockpit of the Ferrari 126CK, created from Nicholas Watts’s 1984 original gouache on board painting.
Print text reads:
“Gilles and the 126”
by Nicholas Watts
This print depicts Gilles Villeneuve during a quiet moment in the cockpit of his Ferrari 126CK. In 1981, Scuderia Ferrari entered a new era, moving away from their familiar 3 litre flat 12 engine and introducing a turbocharged V6. Villeneuve finished the season with two memorable victories, winning at Monaco and Spain.
