This is a wonderfully executed print taken from an original painting by famed English racing artist Gavin Macleod. The composition was inspired by the artist's fascination with the precision of Formula One pit crews. The 2000 Formula One season saw the fabled Indianapolis Motor Speedway play host to the inaugural United States Grand Prix. Michael Schumacher and Ferrari took Indianapolis by storm, and not even a spin late in the race could prevent Schumacher from taking the victory. The artwork is finely detailed and the color intensity is stunning.
